Brochures come in many forms and serve many functions. Sweet Tea Design has created self-mailer brochures, brochure/flyers to promote an event, multiple-page sales brochures, brochures featuring maps, and brochure-style posters.
Brochure for Original Art Series

This sales brochure was designed to promote a series of locally-inspired paintings by Minneapolis-based artist Tammy Ortegon. The main focus of the brochure is to promote the paintings and related cards, prints and magnets. So, the design of the brochure needed to complement the vibrant paintings, but also recede into the background.

Menu Brochures

Sweet Tea Design has been producing these menu brochures for Direct Line Services since 2003. Each restaurant brochure has a front with a menu and photos and 20 different backs with maps and directions from area hotels to the restaurant.

Sales Brochure for Housing Development

This brochure for a new housing development was designed using client-provided photography. The most important part of this brochure was to accommodate the long list of features on the inside spread. The design had to include all the information without looking too text heavy.

Marketing for Annual Human Rights Event

We designed this brochure for the 12th Annual International Women's Day sponsored by The Advocates for Human Rights (formerly Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights) and the Human Rights Program at the University of Minnesota. The celebration included workshops, music, discussion groups and performances that focused on diversity, community building and international women's human rights.
Our brochure included the complete schedule of events, a list of supporters, a short bio of the The Advocates and HRP, a map and directions, and a short history of International Women's Day.
The design was also applied to a poster, bookmark, program guide and a black and white brochure.

Small Business Brochure

Dorn Incorporated needed their logo and overall look updated. We used the "trail of bubbles" image from the old logo and gave them a completely new look.
Dorn consists to two sister companies: Dorn Production Management Services and Dorn Marketing Plus. We created a brochure for each of them based on the same design, but with different colors.
In addition to the brochure, we desgined coordinating business cards for Dorn, Inc.

Regional Coalition Brochure

Midwest Coalition for Human Rights needed a brochure promoting both their projects and their members. This design features the members prominently on the cover and back panel, creating a mini-poster.
The client also wanted to emphasize that the organization is a coalition of midwestern organizations. So, on the cover, locations of the members (i.e. Minnesota, Indianapolis, Cincinnati) are highlighted in a soft yellow. This instantly gives the reader some knowledge of the organization's regional scope.
We also created a Drupal web site and business cards with the same design elements.
