Everyone's talking about Web 2.0. But, what is it? Web 2.0 refers to a new generation of the web that focuses on interactivity between the users. The "traditional" web primarily provided information to the user. Web 2.0 focuses on building communities of users to share information, for social or career networking and for collaboration, among other things. In other words, Web 2.0 makes the user's web experience interactive, rather than passive.

Some of the well-known Web 2.0 tools include Twitter, FaceBook, SurveyMonkey, del.ci.o.us, blogs, polls, LinkedIn and Diggit. And, new ones are constantly being developed.
